Homayoun Ershadi, Gohar Khairandish and Nasrin Moqanlou in “DNA”

The short fiction film “DNA” by Bahador Zamani will be shown for the first time at the Tehran Energy Festival.

According to ISNA, Bahador Zamani, who was previously known for his role in the movie “Resurrection” and played other roles in the past years, has recently directed a short film.

“Dawood, Nasir, Atefeh” abbreviated as “DNA” is one of the selected films of the Energy Festival, which will be shown on Saturday, August 27th at 4:00 PM in Tehran’s Bagh Kitab campus.

In this work, Homayoun Ershadi, Gohar Khairandish, Bahram Ebrahimi, Nasrin Moqanlou, Shabnam Ghorbani, Pouria Mohammadzadeh and Darya Moqbali have played roles in front of Rozbe Raiga’s camera.

“DNA”, which narrates a story about the relationships between the members of a middle-class urban family, has a critique on the social problems of these days of urbanization. Bahador Zamani wrote the screenplay of this work and Hanif Sarouri was in charge of producing it.

The first national energy festival will be held on August 27-29 in Bagh Kitab campus in Tehran. Hoda Zainul Abdin, Rana Azadivar, Hassan Majuni, Hoten Shakiba and Parinaz Izdiyar are the judges of the film section of this event.
